April is National Gardening Month, and many of us have that on our minds. However, gardening is not all there is to celebrate.

In addition to gardening month, April is also the month to celebrate many other notable events.

It is also Keep America Beautiful Month, Stress Awareness Month, National Cancer Control Month, National Child Abuse Awareness Month and National Fair Housing Months.

Look for the national food days in the April word search puzzle

Each month of the year has lots of food and drink days to celebrate and April is no exception.

Some of the national days in this spring word search puzzle are devoted to sweet treats and Easter, which makes sense since Easter comes this month.  

However, don’t forget that in addition to traditional Easter foods like hot cross buns (which have their own national day), there are so many other foods to be celebrated this month!

In April we start with National Baked Sourdough Bread Day on April 1 and eat and drink our way through the month to end with National Oatmeal Cookie Day on April 30.
