When opening a Document in Word 2016, I always get the following error message
Word hyphenation feature is not available. Run the Microsoft Office Setup program, install this feature an then try again
But there is no such option to add the feature in the Office 2016 Setup?
How can I add this feature to Word in Office 2016?

- Open Word Document
- You will received the error message popup —> for this last time click on OK
- Click on Page Layout
- Under Page Setup —> Click on Hyphenation
- Click on Hyphenation Options —> popup menu appears
- Uncheck the checkbox for ‘Automatically hyphenate document’
- Uncheck the checkbox for ‘Hyphenate words in CAPS’
- Click on OK button
- Save the word doc
- Close it
- Open the Word Doc again, the error message won’t popup.
DONE!

Всем привет!
Есть такая проблема. При каждом запуске MS Word 2007 появляется сообщение «Word hyphenation feature is not available. Run setup MS Office and try again». Что я делал: переустанавливал Офис, в Add/remove features всю включено. Может кто сталкивался с такой проблемой?

Выполните рекомендацию из этого обсуждения:
Open the Windows Control Panel
Select Add/Remove Programs
Select Microsoft Office 2007
Select CHANGE
Select Advanced
Select and Expand Office Shared Features
Select and Expand Proofing Tools
Select and Expand English Proofing Tools
Click on the little arrow at the side of Hyphenation and choose Run from My Computer
Если компонент установлен, то наоборот, попробуйте его удалить, а затем снова запустите установку Office и и установите компонент.-

Девченки!
Ситуёвина такая! Пишу работу на немецком, по порядкам надо переносить слова не целиком, а по слогам, хочу, чтобы это было автоматически! Где отрегулировать, нашла!!! Но блин, выдает мне такую хрень:
в табличке написано: Word hyphenation feature is not available. Run the Microsoft Office Setup program, install this feature and then try again.
С переводом проблем нет, но БЛИН!!! Че и где инсталлировать??? нифига не понимаю! Гуглила -не нашла… Че то левое скачивать, типо каких то программок- боязно… Подскажите!!! Проблемка-то никакая, а создала мне целую ПРОБЛЕМИЩУ!!!

In an english Word 2007 version it is not possible to hyhenate german text. I
have allway to change the language of the text to English.
Opening a document i get the message: Hyphenation feature is not available.
It dores not help to run the setup program and trying to reinstall the
feature.

German proofing (hyphenation is part of proofing tools) does not come with
English versions of Office. You need to purchase the appropriate language
pack from your Microsoft reseller.

After having purchased and installed the Office Multi-Language Pack 2007 the
problem is not eliminated. I still have the same message.

If the language is set as English the hyphenantion and the spell check run,
if the language is set as German (Switzerland) it does not. (Message:
Hyphenation feature is not available….)
If I try to run spelling and Grammar check i get the message :’Cannot find
proofing tool for German.’

Can’t install language packs on office 2016
Office 2016 Language Accessory Packs need Internet connection to install fully. Please make sure that you have an active Internet connection and it does take some time for the language pack to be installed. Please be patient. And also make sure that you are installing only 32-bit or 64-bit components of Office and not both. Otherwise, you will run into other problems like listed here.
Language Accessory Pack for Office 2016 fails to install on 64-bit Office
I had gotten into similar problem and got rid of it using the solution on this Office 2016 language packs download page. Here’s the solution,
Since you have installed 32-bit and 64-bit components of Office 2016 together, you will need to uninstall either one of them. The safest way is to uninstall Office 2016 completely and install one version. Do not use setup.exe provided in the Microsoft Office 2016 DVD. Instead, open the «Office» folder and run setup32.exe or setup64.exe appropriately.
After the clean installation, you should be able to install the language pack without any problems.
