«To wear» имеет транскрипцию [weə] и произношение [вэар].

Wear — правильный или неправильный глагол

У правильных глаголов в Past Simple (V2) и Past Participle (V3) просто добавляется окончание —ed (например: worked, played, asked).
Неправильными в английском языке называют глаголы, которые образуют времена Past Simple и Past Participle не по общим правилам. Объясняется это тем, что они более древние и использовались в речи задолго до появления основных правил грамматики. Их немного, но у каждого своё, не имеющее закономерности, словообразование, которое необходимо запомнить.
«To wear» относится именно к группе неправильных глаголов (irregular verbs). И имеет 3 совершенно отличные друг от друга формы.
Три формы глагола wear
Формы глагола: wear — wore — worn.
Base Form
Первая или базовая форма глагола (V1) — это изначальный его вид без окончания. Нельзя путать с инфинитивом, который всегда стоит с частицей to за исключением редких случаев.
«Wear» и будет базовой формой «носить», «надевать», «одевать».
Есть один грамматический нюанс его употребления:
Если глагол является сказуемым, а связанное с ним подлежащее стоит в 3‑ем лице единственного числа (he, she, it), то к нему присоединяется хвостик -s — в данном случае получаем «wears».
Например: «Катя всегда надевает солнечные очки, когда ведёт машину». («Kate always wears her sunglasses when she drives a car»).
Past Simple
Преобразуясь во вторую форму (V2), слово изменяется на совсем непохожее «wore» [wɔːr]. Она называется Past Simple (простое прошедшее). V2 — очень часто встречаемая в речи форма. Она используется в большинстве случаев при упоминании о прошлом.
Например с глаголом «to wear»:
«Вчера было морозно, поэтому дети надели зимние куртки и шапки». («It was freezing yesterday, so children wore their winter jackets and caps»).
Past Participle
Past Participle — это третья, заключительная из рассматриваемых, форма (V3). Глагол «носить» в данном случае преобразуется в «worn» [wɔːn] и чаще всего используется в совершенных временах (Perfect) для указания завершённости действия с результатом.
Например:
