Gen Thomas: Not in my vocabulary.
Josh Keyes: Then you might want to get one of those word-a-day calendars, General, because it’s impossible.

Inspiration

We were inspired to come up with a way to learn new words every day to improve our vocabulary. Also, one of us is going to take the GRE test, so vocabulary was much needed.

What it does

This is a digital calendar that helps us learn a new word every day along with its meaning. It also displays the date, day, time, location and temperature.

How we built it

We pulled the word of the day and its meaning from the Brittanica website using API build with thingspeak and then displayed it using our M5stack2 board.

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we’re proud of

What we learned

We learned to create custom APIs to pull data from different website.
