BOB, spelled backwards is BOB, and upside down (not rotated 180!) is still BOB
So about that 180 rotation – B ends up backwards. But if by upside down you mean flip the letter over like one would do if it were a physical object on the table, then B is still B. I conclude that the words “upside down” are therefore slightly ambiguous. For if I have a one word sign, and flip it over I get a different result than if I take the same sign and rotate it 180 degrees, and still yet a third result if I am able to take each letter on the sign and flip or rotate them individually. Three different results! So how about a word that fits them all! l0l alright, it’s an acronym
