No spoken word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. If God speaks something it WILL come to pass.

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Luke 1:37 AMP

God, Himself, stands over and watches over His own Word, making sure it is fulfilled.

Jeremiah 1:12 AMP says, “Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.”
The KJV says, “For I will hasten my word to perform it.”
The NKJV says, “For I am ready to perform My word.”
The NIV says, “For I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
The ERV says, “I am watching to make sure that my message to you comes true.”

God’s Word accomplishes that which He pleases and purposes and it prospers in the thing for which He sent it.

Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon. 8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:6-11 AMP

The rain and snow come down and water the earth and cause the seeds to sprout and grow up and produce fruit. In the same way, God’s Word goes forth and produces good fruit. God’s Word always produces a result – not just any result, but the exact result that God had for it. God’s Word never returns to Him void – useless or without producing any effect — but it accomplishes that which He pleases and purposes and it prospers in the thing for which He sent it! Isaiah 55:11 NIV says, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” The ERV says, “In the same way, my words leave my mouth, and they don’t come back without results. My words make the things happen that I want to happen. They succeed in doing what I send them to do.”

The word of our God will stand and endure forever.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8 AMP

For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off, 25 But the Word of the Lord (divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25 AMP

The sum of Your word is truth [the total of the full meaning of all Your individual precepts]; and every one of Your righteous decrees endures forever. Psalms 119:160 AMP

God’s Word will never pass away.

For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:18 NKJV

God is dependable and faithful to His Word.

So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. Hebrews 10:23 AMP

The Word of God is tested, tried and proven.

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31 AMP

As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. Psalms 18:30 AMP

Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him. Proverbs 30:5 AMP

God keeps His Word even if men don’t keep theirs. God’s Word is true and will come to pass no matter what people do, say or believe.

What if some did not believe and were without faith? Does their lack of faith and their faithlessness nullify and make ineffective and void the faithfulness of God and His fidelity [to His Word]? 4 By no means! Let God be found true though every human being is false and a liar, as it is written, That You may be justified and shown to be upright in what You say, and prevail when You are judged [by sinful men]. Romans 3:3-4 AMP

If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 AMP

God’s Word WILL work for YOU if you will believe it.

And we also [especially] thank God continually for this, that when you received the message of God [which you heard] from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it]. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 AMP

[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. 19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb. 20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, 21 Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. Romans 4:18-21 AMP

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it” (Jer. 1:12 ESV)

I am Watching Over My Word to Perform it showing an almond branch

The LORD spoke to Jeremiah as He ordained and commissioned him into his prophetic office that He is watching over His word to perform it. As a prophet, Jeremiah will be operating  with the Word of God, and the Lord laid down the foundation of the trustworthiness, invincibility, and steadfastness of His Word.

We also need this assurance today, as Jeremiah did. The Lord is watching over His Word to ensure that it becomes fulfilled as He said it.

Let me take this further to show you a mystery in this verse. When many of us read this verse, what comes to our minds is God keeping track of what He has said, just as we do, and then do it in due time. That is certainly true. His memory is divine, not human, and He does not forget what He says as we do. However, there is more.

God does not merely keep track of His Word to ensure that when it is time, He does not forget to perform it. His Word is power. When He speaks, at that same instant that those words come out of His mouth, they alter the course of creation and sets in motion every process that is needed to bring to pass what God has set. Creation will simply just adjust itself by the power of God to bring to pass what He said at the time He said it! It is not a matter of God remembering that He made some promise that He has to fulfill. The Word that goes forth from His Word accomplishes by themselves what He said! This is how reliable and powerful God’s Word is. It is His power that not only creates but changes the course of creation.

MEDITATE

What would happen if God’s word fails? ( NB. See what sustains creation here Heb. 1:3). Declare that “ the Lord is watching every Word  to perform it in my life!”

APPLY THE WORD

The Word is trustworthy. Faith puts the Word to work. Once you believe, things will adjust themselves around you under the power of His Word to ensure that Word is fulfilled. Trust in the Word. You cannot go wrong with it.

It is time to receive from God with a child-like Faith

It is time to receive from God with a child-like Faith

“I am watching over my Word to perform it” (Jeremiah 1:12).?When God speaks a word over your life, he watches over it until the time of its fulfilment. In this prophetic season many are nurturing promises given to them by God years ago. It is time to bring these out again and, together with the Holy Spirit, keep watch over them. That’s how we partner with the Holy Spirit in the fulfilment of God’s prophetic word to us.

God’s Word is living and active. It is a moving, breathing word because it is spoken by his living breath – the Spirit of God! Paul says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (God-breathed), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

Notice he says “The Scripture is God-breathed”; not, “was God-breathed”. God’s word always IS. It is being carried upon God’s breath. What he spoke in years gone by – is still being spoken. Not a single word is lost or forgotten.

God says he is watching over the word he has given you: “I am watching over it; like a hen broods over her eggs”. The Hebrew word is shaqad which means “to be alert, to be awake, to be on the lookout”. We watch with him as we intercede concerning the word he has spoken over us. We watch with him when we believe that what God has said he has power to fulfil. Every word of God carries within it the power for its own fulfilment. He will never let his word fall to the ground.

Have you heard a word from the Lord, maybe recently, or perhaps many years ago? God has not forgotten what he said to you. It is time to bring that word before him and hold onto it with complete confidence that what he has promised he will fulfil.

I have a feeling that many of us are entering into a time of prophetic fulfilment. Keep that word fresh. Believe it. Proclaim it. Intercede over it. And wait for it – it will surely come!

Word of the Day
Beloved, you are a descendant of Abraham and an heir to the promise. I love you as I loved him. He was just a man like Elijah was just a man (James 5:17). They did nothing any greater than you can do when trust is put in Me. I am opening your eyes to see beyond the stars into the heart of one who adores you. I am giving you My hope, My endurance, My patience, and most of all, My faith.

I have not forgotten one promise or one dream I have planted in your heart. I watch over every one to perform them. Let it be done according to My spoken and written word. I release My word today, bringing about the victory you have so longed for.

I am releasing My Word to you right now this moment and I am saying, “Open up O’ eyes of My beloved, open and see. Open up O’ gates of your heart. The question in your eyes and heart are answered today with yes and amen. Yes and amen to the dreams and promises I have birthed in your heart.”

“Do not detour with a heart of unbelief for it always causes problems (Hebrews 3:12). Do not let the enemy say, “Hath God Said?” He is a liar and the father of all lies (John 8:44 b) Have faith in Me. Have My faith. Open up your heart and I will fill it with My faith. I am faith. I give Myself to you. Is anything to wonderful or impossible for Me? No! I watch over My word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). It does not return without accomplishing the purpose for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11).”

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11 Amplified)

Prayer
All things are possible with You. Your right hand upholds me and the seas come and go at Your command. I swing wide the gates of my heart. Nothing is locked or hidden from You. The eyes of my Heart are opened to revelation, wisdom and truth. Every Word hidden in my heart is now bringing forth life, faith, hope and action. Like popcorn over an open flame, all is coming to fullness.

I reject all lies saying my past has hold over my present and future. You hold my future and I live, move and have my being in You. I place all dreams and visions before You. Inject them with life and all my dry bones will live, becoming a great army. You are faithful and true. Amen

Reflect and Journal:
1. Ask Him to open your eyes, enabling you to see beyond the stars.

2. What do you think it means to have the faith of God, not just faith in God?

Jeremiah 1:12 Then said Jehovah unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I watch over my word to perform it.

When God speaks a word he does not watch from a distance to see if it will have effect. He watches over his word to perform it. This means there is no word of God that is left to chance. If God says he will heal , he watches over that word to perform healing. The word of God is not left at the mercy of chance or for you and I to bring it to pass. God himself watches over his own word to perform it.

So if we want to see God at work we must get his word because we know that if we are aligned to his word believing and standing on it we will see God perform it. He does not watch over our wishes to perform them but he watches over his word. Get the word of God believe it ,speak it and watch God bring it to pass, because if it’s his word he has guaranteed us that he will watch over it to perform it.

  • Meditate On My Word and Watch Me Perform it

  • Prophet June Sheltrown

  • May 13, 2020

My Word is written on the tablets of your heart, says the LORD. Let it be in your mouth, and meditate on what I have said, night and day, and watch Me fulfill it right before your very eyes. For My Word is life in you, and you will realize what you can believe Me for, as you dwell on My infallible Word. Faith comes by hearing My Word, and proclaiming it and holding onto it, no matter what your circumstances are screaming. For I watch over My Word to perform it, and your faith in Me and My WORD is well pleasing onto Me, says the LORD.

For as your faith arises, so shall My Word arise and bring forth the fruit of it in your life, says the LORD. Hold fast to My Word and never let it go. What I have spoken is true, and it is for you to believe and embrace. My Word is a sword that will pierce through your uncertainties, and penetrate the impossibilities, and perform great and mighty acts for you as you simply believe! Let your faith be strong and you will prosper in My Word that will become your reality, as you refuse to wallow in fear, doubt and unbelief. You will have the desires of your heart that I will grant, as you hold onto My Word and know that I will do all things well for you, says the LORD.
