Before starting this exercise, ask your child if they understand the meaning of the word «verb». If they do not, then, this worksheet is a perfect tool to use in teaching them how to spot and use verbs. Explain to your child that a verb is a word that shows an action. Give them some examples of verbs that they are familiar with. Then, look at the pictures in this tracing sheet and read the words under them. Next, ask your child to follow the dotted lines to find the hidden words.
