Presentation vocabulary. Teacher show the pictures with new words. Students listen to the teacher and repeat after him all together and individually.
Tell students they are going to listen a conversation.

Differentiation by task
Teacher regroups students. After that teacher gives worksheets for each group.
1 group- more able students. Complete the text without support.

Work in pairs. Teacher divides students into pairs. Students A and B. Student A ask question about the text. Students B answer the questions.
Teacher divides students into 3 groups: Turkey, Egypt, and Dubai. Students take the list with name of their group. Each group should do posters “How they can spend vacations?” One students from each group shows the posters and tell their story.

Discussing learning objectives with the learners:
Giving them assessment paper
Teacher demonstrates the pictures on the presentation. Students should say the words very quickly in chorally. Then say one by one. (twice)

Aim: to present vocabulary related holiday essentials
Teacher asks students match the photos with the words in the box. Then listen and check. Teacher plays the listening track 2.11 and pauses so that students can repeat what they hear.
Speaking practice : (P) Ex 2 p69
Aim: to give students practice in speaking for specific information and transferring from verbal to visual information
Teacher asks students which of the things shown in the pictures they would need in these situation. Teacher draws students attention to the book and explains it to the class. Then, students are asked to go over the task and the assessment criteria.
Students will write answers in theirs copybook. At the end of the task teacher 1 st pair will read the situation, 2 nd pair will show signal

Teacher demonstrates the pictures on the presentation. Students should say the words very quickly in chorally. Then say one by one. (twice)
Aim: to present vocabulary related holiday essentials Teacher asks students match the photos with the words in the box. Then listen and check. Teacher plays the listening track 2.11 and pauses so that students can repeat what they hear.
Aim: to give students practice in speaking for specific information and transferring from verbal to visual information Teacher asks students which of the things shown in the pictures they would need in these situation. Teacher draws students attention to the book and explains it to the class. Then, students are asked to go over the task and the assessment criteria. Students will write answers in theirs copybook. At the end of the task teacher 1st pair will read the situation, 2nd pair will show signal KEY:1) a shampoo 2)suitcase 3) first aid 4)swimsuit 5)phone charger 6) passport |
