Children will practice their am words with these activities:

  • word cards for reading – start by sounding out the letters and blending the sounds to make words
  • color by word activity – find and color all the -am words with the right marker
  • match the am words with pictures – read the words and match them with pictures
  • write the letters to make words – write the letters at the beginning of each word
  • cut and paste letters while making -am words – similarly, cut and paste the letters in the correct picture
