Глагол have got & has got
«Get – доставать, получать» также используется в значении «have – иметь и обладать» во временной форме Present Perfect. Она указывает на то, что у кого-то есть какой-то предмет, друг или родственник и т.д. Ниже представлены формы глагола «have got»:
I have got a new smartphone. – У меня новый смартфон.
Jennifer has got a charming smile. – У Дженнифер очаровательная улыбка.
Have your parents got an apartment in LA? – У твоих родителей квартира в ЛА?
Хотя оборот «have got» используются и в американском, чаще всего его употребляют в британском английском. Важно иметь в виду, что неправильный глагол «get» имеет 3 формы. Для канадца и американца: «get – got – gotten»; для британцев и всех остальных: «get — got — got». Однако, несмотря на это в Америке «got» используется именно в «have got», в других же случаях используется причастие прошедшего времени «gotten».
