Итак, прекрасный летний день. Прилетаем вслед за своими подругам Бесс и Джесс отдохнуть на Остров Страха. Как только выходим из самолета, видим встревоженную Джесс и узнаем, что Бесс кто-то похитил! Читаем записку от Гибсонов — владельцев гостиницы. Разговариваем с Джесс и выясняем, что Бесс взяла гольф-карт и уехала на прогулку по острову, где и пропала.Есть второй гольф-карт, но в аккумулятор надо долить воды. Джесс дает письмо от похитителей, в котором они заявляют, что освободят Бесс, если мы найдем сокровище Эль-Торо. Для этого надо раскопать что-то в Акульей бухте. Джесс хочет настроить спутниковый телефон, чтобы вызвать помощь.

1. Осматриваемся в холле гостиницы.

Смотрим на карту острова рядом с Джесс на стене.
Смотрим на закрытый шкафчик с подводным снаряжением и электронным замком слева от Джесс. Идем к витрине, читаем информацию о летучих мышах, берем в руки детектор(все хорошо, но нет батарейки). Читаем на стенде информацию об обезьянах, надо нажать на кнопки и послушать их голос. Берем «Полевые заметки» неутомимого Санни Джуна. Смотрим на плакат с флагами на стене. Идем дальше- ой, говорящий попугай на жердочке! Оказывается, он родственник нашего старого знакомого Лори из Поместья Блэкмур. Попугая зовут Куку. В доверительной беседе Куку объясняет, что готов показать нам все свои трюки и дать неограниченное количество подсказок, но очень любит гуаву. Ну что ж, примем к сведению.
Подходим к столику у входа, читаем книгу про знаменитого Эль Торо. В 1669 году он и его семь кораблей с грузом сокровищ пропали. Автор книги написал, что клад можно найти с помощью акваланга, металлоискателя, лопаты и подводного снаряжения. Теперь понятен план действий.

2. Изучаем территорию гостиницы.

Идем на пирс. Видим яхту, которая пока без парусов. Возвращаемся обратно к гостинице, поворачиваем на террасу. Вот оно, наше средство передвижения по острову — гольф-карт, но аккумуляторы пусты. К сиденью пришпилена записка с инструкцией, как заправить акуумуляторы. Где же найти воду?
Перед собой видим небольшой сарайчик, закрытый на ключ. Может, Гибсоны оставили ключ за стойкой?
Возвращаемся к Джесс, которая дает нам ключ от сарая. Может, и батарейка у нее есть? Увы…
Открываем сарай, берем лопату, распылитель дистиллированной воды и видим ящик с парусами, закрытый на замок.
Читаем еще одну инструкцию про зарядку аккумулятора.

3. Открываем ящик с парусами.

На ящике нарисованы флаги. Идем к стенду с флагами и переводим каждый флажок в цифры. Желто-красный- 7, разноцветный- 9, сине-белый- 2, желто-красно-желтый- 0, бело-красный- 4. Итак, код к замку с парусами- 79204.Забираем паруса.

Поднимаем сиденье, вставляем туда распылитель.

Я пронумеровала каждый переключатель сверху вниз, слева направо. Открыть- горизонтально, закрыть- вертикально. Чтобы налить воду, надо нажать на синюю кнопку, чтобы вылить- красную.

Открыть 3,4,6, закрыть 1,2,5
Открыть 3,4,5,6, закрыть 1,2

5. Едем на Пальмовый пляж разыскивать Бесс.

Пасхальное яйцо 1:
Надо ехать нижней дорогой, съехать с трассы и въехать в заросли- там есть дорожка между двумя рядами деревьев, куда проходит машина.Машина остановится и вы станете обладателем кудахчущего кота в фуражке)))

Выбираемся из зарослей, едем на Пляж.Бесс там нет, зато есть ее шлепанец. Пытаемся посмотреть на него поближе и оказываемся в ловушке вниз головой. Так мы знакомимся с Джонни Роллом- любителем дикой природы. Общаться с нами он не хочет, поэтому едем в Акулью бухту выполнять требование похитителей.

6. Акулья бухта, выкапываем дневник.

Внимательно изучив инструкцию, становится понятно, что надо найти букву W. На эту букву похожи три пальмы посреди песчаного пляжа. Встаем под них.
Далее действуем по инструкции- умножаем количество листиков на пальме или количество камушков на количество шагов и идем от препятствия в другую сторону.
Решение:
Вниз 3, влево 3, вверх 9, влево 9, вверх 2, влево 3, вниз 15, влево 4, вниз 6, вправо 12, вверх 5, вправо 6, вниз 4, вправо 8, вверх 2.
Берем лопату в руки.
Мы выкопали дневник Эль-Торо.

7.Акулья бухта, расшифровка дневника.

А дневник-то зашифрован! И кода нет… Придется самостоятельно переводить. Надо подбирать буквы, они будут дублироваться в тексте, проще начинать с коротких слов. Дело осложняется тем, что на каждой странице свой шифр.

Первая страница:

В кромешной тьме, когда дул ураганный ветер, а огромные волны заливали палубу, я приказал кораблям изменить курс и идти к земле. Остров был близок, но «Каридад» развалился и исчез в море, а в паруса «Кастидад» ударила молния. Корабль загорелся и затонул, охваченный огнём и дымом. Пять остальных кораблей дошли до острова и встали на якорь, чтобы переждать шторм.

Вторая страница:

На рассвете мы поняли, сколь велик был ущерб. Выжила только треть моих людей, а корабли не подлежали ремонту. Ни одному из них не суждено больше выйти в море. Мы полностью разбиты и обречены провести остаток дней своих на острове, если нас не заметят с какого-нибудь проходящего корабля. Как верный слуга короля, я решил выполнить свой долг и надежно спрятать наш груз на случай встречи с пиратами.

Третья страница:

Семь кораблей поднимали паруса, а значит, семь частей снимут печать. Я попросил команды оставшихся кораблей спрятать по одному предмету в разных местах. Тайники буду знать только я и те, кого я просил. Тайником для сокровищ займусь я сам. Я пишу здесь не на испанском, чтобы ни один из моих людей не понял моих записей. Если наши спасители окажутся врагами, они ничего не узнают от команды.

Дневник расшифрован, но не полностью. Нужно поискать какой-то дополнительный код для расшифровки.

Возвращаемся к Джонни, просим у него батарейку. В обмен он просит принести ему сигнальный флажок, который потерялся в море на северо-западе от Пальмового пляжа между двумя скалами. Едем обратно в гостиницу.

8. Первый выход в море.

Ставим паруса и отплываем. В инвентаре появляется инструкция по вождению яхты, которую неплохо бы изучить. Плывем на северо-запад от Пальмового пляжа, уворачиваясь от китов, акул, буйков и прочих препятствий.Если все-таки на что-нибудь наткнетесь, яхта начнет повреждаться и в конце концов можно будет утонуть. Чтобы скорость плавания увеличилась, надо лавировать.
Второе пасхальное яйцо:
Заодно знакомимся с окрестностями и собираем в море 9 бутылок с кусочками стихотворения внутри. Читаем. Некоторые буквы выделены красным цветом: «Рой перед акулами». Когда мы будем нырять в Коралловом рифе, нужно будет подплыть поближе к акулам и вырыть второе пасхальное яйцо из песочка

Возвращаемся в гостиницу.

Согласно дневнику, Эль-Торо опустил в море в одной миле к юго-востоку от острова в память о погибших моряках железный сундук. Лопата у нас есть, яхта готова. Нам нужно подводное снаряжение и металлоискатель.

Открываем электронный замок на шкафчике со снаряжением.
Нужно погасить все лампочки, загнав их в угол.

нумеруем клетки слева направо сверху вниз.
Младший детектив 1 — нажать 5, 15, 25, 10, 5, 22, 21, 7.
Или:
Младший детектив 2 — нажать 21, 22, 25, 15, 10,7.

Старший детектив — нажать 20, 14, 8, 9, 4, 5.

Достаем гидрокостюм, здесь же есть воздух для акваланга (чтобы его использовать, щелкните на гидрокостюм, потом на красную кнопку на баллоне и не забудьте забрать акваланг). Берем две рации- теперь можно общаться с Джесс.Смотрим на карту, на которой отмечены места, где Нэнси раскрывала дела — странно…
На столе рядом с Джесс стоит блюдо с фруктами, берем оттуда гуавы.
Если угостить Куку, он или даст подсказку или покажет трюк. За все увиденные трюки дают звездочку в титуле. Если съесть самому несколько гуав, за это тоже можно получить звездочку.
Едем к Джонни.Отдаем флажок, получаем батарейку и просим металлоискатель.
Джонни отдаст его, но в обмен на украденный обезьянами компас.
Едем в Центр изучения приматов.
С обезьянами можно сыграть в три игры.

Чтобы выиграть компас, нужно сыграть в «Кокосы». Вот здесь и пригодились нам записи Санни Джуна. Нужно целиться в первую очередь в кокосы, потом в крабов, а потом в звезды, чтобы набрать максимальное количество очков.
Игра на время, после определенной тренировки все получится.
Заодно можно поиграть на гуаву для Куку.
Если выиграть у обезьян все призы, за это можно получить звездочку в титуле.

Третье пасхальное яйцо.
Берем любое яйцо, нажимаем на обезьяну справа, играем с ней в «Клеточки». Если выигрываем, то получаем пасхалку с пальмами

Меняем компас на металлоискатель у Джонни.
Едем обратно в гостиницу.

10. Погружение

Плывем к Коралловому рифу на юго-восток от острова. Заплываем в бухту, кликаем на воду. Рекомендую сохранить игру, т.к. это задание на время и если вы не успеете, воздух в баллоне акваланга закончится и придется плыть обратно в гостиницу его заряжать или использовать второй шанс.
Ищем металлоискателем сундук. Будут попадаться разнообразные металлические предметы, не забываем выкопать второе пасхальное яйцо!
Если вы найдете все металлические предметы в игре, получите звездочку в титул.

Старшему придется потрудиться самостоятельно.Начинаем с центрального квадратика.
Наконец крышка открыта. Берем из сундука астролябию и странный разноцветный диск.Всплываем.
На астролябии написаны какие-то буквы. Это недостающий код для дневника!

Решение:
огромными ушами, ловят насекомых, свет наших фонарей, со скалы, астролябию на стойку, три фута, шесть раз, пятьдесят футов, синюю бездну, последует за знаками.

Дневник расшифрован.

Плывем обратно в гостиницу.На столбе террасы пришпилена записка с угрозами.
Теперь нам необходима стойка для астролябии и детектор для поиска пещеры, где живут летучие мыши.

Собираем детектор, вставляем батарейку.
Высняем из дневника, что нужные нам летучие мыши подают сигнал на частоте 16 кГц (большеухий листонос Ватерхауза).
Вредный Куку не хочет отдавать нам бесплатно свою жердочку. Поэтому даем ему гуаву (если они у вас кончились, едем к обезьянам).
Но и после этого он начнет гонять вас по всем локациям. Веточки есть в Акульей бухте, Синей бездне и Пальмовом пляже, но за один раз можно взять только одну.Наконец стойка для астролябии у нас.

12. Займемся скалолазанием

Скала с пещерами находится посреди острова. Лезем вверх и начинаем проверять с помощью детектора все пещеры, не забывая уворачиваться от камней, которые сыпятся с неба. Если вы проверите все пещеры, получите звездочку в титул.
Ура, мы наконец добрались! Но что это? Какая-то кнопка в стене… Нажмем ее. Лучше бы мы этого не делали… Вход закрылся большим камнем. Темно и тяжело дышать. Попробуем осветить пещеру. Нужно направить свет зеркал на противоположную стену.

Берем второй разноцветный диск и серую табличку с символами.
Попробуем связаться с Джесс и вызвать ее на подмогу.

13. Играем за Джесс

Теперь Джесс придется лезть на скалу)))
Вход закрыт, а замок- очень странный паззл.
Не торопитесь открывать его, внимательно запомните картинку.
Когда откроете крышку, кусочки паззла надо собрать по группам- голова верблюда, горб, ноги и т.д. Только когда все сложите правильно, все кусочки паззла встанут на место и вместо паззла окажутся пятнашки.
Нумеруем их слева направо сверху вниз от 1 до 9.

Наконец вход открыт. Идем к выходу и видим на полу пещеры водительское удостоверение Джонни Ролла, который, как оказывается, совсем не Джонни Ролл.Забираем его с собой.

избранный положить конец страданиям людей. Что-то ещё надо пояснить? Как
вы понимаете, сюжетных откровений от Lagoon ждать не приходится. Главный
герой практически нем, а большинство диалогов будут заключаться в
«возьми это, сходи туда-то».

Геймплей:
Lagoon
смело можно называть клоном Ys. Уж больно много элементов без зазрения
совести было «позаимствовано» у легендарной игры от Falcom. К сожалению,
этот клон и близко не доходит до уровня оригинала. Начнём с главной
проблемы Lagoon – ужасно корявой боевой системы. В отличие от Ys, в
Lagoon разработчики сделали отдельные кнопки для атаки и прыжка. Но на
пользу это совсем не пошло. Попасть по монстрам мечом-зубочисткой —
задача совсем нетривиальная, зато враг при малейшем соприкосновении
будет отнимать вам приличное количество HP. К сожалению, это относится
для всех мечей в игре: будь то начальный ножик или продвинутый лунный
клинок. Если на рядовых врагах к этому ещё можно как-то привыкнуть (и
даже научиться атаковать в такт, без потерь HP), то на боссах начинается
самый кошмар.

Восстанавливать жизни в
игре можно, как и в Ys – стоя на месте. Также вам позволено носить с
собой парочку лечащих зелий, которе будут не заменимы в битвах с
боссами, так как противостояние с ними – это соревнование у кого быстрее
кончатся HP. Какую-то другую, более вменяемую тактику там подобрать
сложно, так как попасть по ним – это подвиг.

Есть в игре и магия. Для
чего служат несколько посохов и несколько разноцветных кристаллов.
Комбинируя их, вы получите разные волшебные заклинания. Дальнобойная
магия – это единственное ваше спасение от корявой атаки мечом. Но не
радуйтесь раньше времени. Во-первых, магия действует далеко не на всех
врагов, а во-вторых, на боссах её вам и вовсе не позволят использовать.
Вторым применением магии являются волшебные кольца, ежесекундно
поглощающие MP. Вот они здорово пригодятся на боссах, так как дают
существенный бонус к атаке, защите, и даже могут восстановить HP.

Локации в Lagoon
представляют собой весьма запутанные лабиринты. И тут вы обнаружите, что
у игры есть и другие недостатки. Такие, как черепашья скорость
передвижения главного героя и мгновенная смерть от падения в яму. Благо,
что прыжков в игре не так уж и много, а кроме того, сохраниться можно в
любой момент.

В целом, Lagoon могла бы
получиться неплохой игрой, если б разработчики хотя бы немного
отшлифовали атаку мечом. Но из-за одного лишь этого недостатка, всё
удовольствие от игры сходит на нет. Рекомендовать Lagoon к прохождению я
бы никому не стал, разве что любителям плохих старых игр, обожающих
проверять свои нервы на прочность.

Персонажи:

Графика:
Визуальная
составляющая Lagoon не слишком сильная даже по меркам SNES игр 91-ого
года. Слабенькая детализация, простенькая анимация и спец. эффекты.
Единственное, что можно отметить – редкие аниме сценки, которые хоть
как-то красят игру.
