My parents come from different countries. Mum is from Russia and my dad is from Spain. They met many years ago while taking an international language course in England. Now we live in Spain but I think my mum misses Russia a lot. She likes telling me about the beautiful nature, warm-hearted people and great culture of her motherland. In my opinion, I like living in Spain and I’m more Spanish than Russian but if I could spend a year or two in Russia, I think, it would be very exciting. I can speak Russian fluently but I have never studied Russian traditions. So, I always feel shy and avoid speaking Russian when mum’s friends come to visit us here, in Spain.
