Порядок слов повествовательного предложения

На первом месте всегда будет подлежащее и сказуемое. Далее будут второстепенные члены. После сказуемого стоит прямое дополнение, затем косвенное, после них обстоятельство.

I gave my some food to my cat yesterday. Я (подлежащее) дала (сказуемое) немного еды (прямое дополнение) моему коту (косвенное дополнение) вчера (обстоятельство).
