My Little Pony World is an app created by Budge Studios (who made multiple MLP apps in the past pertaining to FiM). It was soft launched in September 2022 in Canada and Australia before being fully released worldwide on November 9, 2022.
Most of the game is placed behind a monthly subscription paywall starting at US$7.
Synopsis
Magic has returned to Equestria! Play as your favorite pony and explore Maretime Bay! Play fun mini games, complete missions, or design and decorate the Crystal Brighthouse! Let your kindness & confidence glow bright!
Explore Maretime Bay like never before in My Little Pony World. Fun kids games designed for girls, boys & children of all ages.
Plot
The Mane 5 helps the residents of Maretime Bay with various missions they ask for help with, for instance missing items and gardening, in exchange for decorative items for the Crystal Brighthouse living room.
Gameplay
The game is played in landscape mode only with native widescreen and ultrawidescreen support, with the ponies and some items controlled by pointing to where the ponies should walk.
Development and history
The voice actors for the NPC ponies are not known from any other G5 media, with many trying to imitate various American and British accents with varying degrees of success.[1]
Although the town design and assets bear significant resemblance to those of My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, the town layout is not a 1:1 match by any means.
