Английские идиомы.
Идиомы
или фразеологизмы – это именно те конструкции, которые украшают любой язык,
делают его ярким и неповторимым, а главное – запутанным и непонятным для
иностранцев, которые пытаются его изучить.
Английский язык, с точки зрения наличия в его обширной системе идиоматических
выражений является, пожалуй, одним из самых богатых. А английские идиомы носят
ярко выраженный национальный характер. Их можно слышать в ежедневных
разговорах, дружеских беседах, дискуссиях, на деловых встречах. Также их можно
встретить в художественной литературе, газетах, журналах, телепрограммах.
Идиомы придают языку яркую окраску, делают его более живым, эмоциональным и
неформальным.
Выбор
данной темы не случайный. Идиоматические выражения в английском языке
– интересная и одновременно непростая тема для изучения. Английские идиомы
бывают весьма специфичны, а их дословный перевод на родной язык просто
невозможен. В учебниках английского языка общеобразовательной школы
изучению фразеологизмов практически не уделяется внимание, и встреча учащихся с
идиоматическими выражениями часто ставит их в тупик. Для правильного и полного
понимания фразеологизмов недостаточно правильно выполнить перевод. Необходимо
использование дополнительных источников информации, в том числе англо-русских
фразеологических словарей и специальных справочников. А для реального живого
общения с носителями английского языка необходимо хорошее владение фразеологизмами,
незнание которых может значительно затруднить естественный процесс
коммуникации.
Знание распространенных повседневных английских
идиом поможет вам уверенно чувствовать себя в большинстве жизненных ситуаций. Именно для этого
мы разработали дидактический материал, включающий в себя различные типы
упражнений, позволяющий рассмотреть разные подходы к изучению и переводу фразеологических
единиц.
Данный дидактический материал основан
на УМК «Английский в фокусе»
(9 классе), отличительной особенностью которого, является модульное построение учебника.
Все упражнения подобраны строго тематики модуля и позволяют значительно
расширить словарный запас, и соответственно, повысить коммуникативные
возможности учащихся в общеобразовательной школе, успешно подготовиться к
олимпиаде и сдаче ГИА по английскому языку.
Module 1. Celebrations. Idioms
with “cake”.
