Чтобы вывести штрих-код на сайте или при печати достаточно подключить специальный шрифт. Но среди большого количества нужно выбрать именно тот шрифт, который успешно будет считываться сканером штрих-кода.

Среди них есть три основных основных стандарта:

Code 39

Code 39 (также известный как «USS Code 39», «Code 3/9», «Code 3 of 9», «USD-3», «Alpha39») – штрих-код, которым можно закодировать латинские буквы, цифры и некоторые специальные символы.

Code 128

Цифровой код в формате Code 128 компактнее за счёт «двойной упаковки» данных, когда две цифры записываются в один шаблон штрихкода. Буквенные символы кодируются обычным способом.

В штрих-код Code 128 можно закодировать до 70 символов:

  • большие латинские буквы (от A до Z);
  • цифры (от 0 до 9);
  • некоторые специальные символы (!»#$%^&*()-=|/:;,’.»

Как установить шрифт LibreBarcode39Text Regular

1. Для того, чтобы установить шрифт LibreBarcode39Text Regular в свой HTML-проект, сперва скопируйе содержимое архива в папку /fonts, которая должна лежать в той-же директории, что и папка /css вашего HTML сайта.

Структура проекта после установки шрифтов:
/ (корневой каталог шаблона или проекта)
    /fonts (Шрифты из архива распаковываем в папку /fonts)
        /LibreBarcode39TextRegular

    /css (Папка со стилями должна находиться в той-же категории, что и /fonts)
        /stylename.css (Файл стилей, в котором подключаются русские шрифты)

2. Далее вставляем код, указанный ниже, в файл стилей, который должен находиться в папке /css.

А лучше, используйте «коллекции» чтобы получить готовый архив с css файлом и нужными шрифтами, для этого жмите [+] и выбраный шрифт попадет в вашу коллекцию, можно добавлять разные шрифты и начертания, чтобы скачать только те, которые Вам нужны.
Кроме того, вы можете скачать сгенерированный плагин для WordPress сайта, и установить шрифты через менеджер плагинов в админке!

Add Barcode Font in Excel

In Excel, you can format cells as barcodes which can be very useful, especially in inventory management. For example, you can create a product catalog with all barcodes, print product UPC codes, or track items easily. To use barcodes in Excel, you need a barcode font installed. Code 39 is the most frequently used font. To download it, follow these steps:

  1. You can download Code 39 from several sources. Try this one.
  2. After opening this link, choose Code 39 on the page and click the Download button.

  1. The font is downloaded as a ZIP folder to your Downloads. Unzip it to get the TTF (true to font) file.

  1. Then, double-click on the TTF file. You can see a preview of the font.

  1. To install the barcode font, in the Font Preview window, click on Install.

As a result, the barcode font is installed on your computer. To see it listed in your fonts, you may need to reopen Excel.

Create Barcodes in Excel

  1. Once you have a barcode font installed, you are ready to create barcodes from a list of numbers. For example, see the list below in Column A. Let’s create barcodes from those numbers in Column B. First, be sure that all values from Column A are formatted as text, in order to avoid numbers being condensed.

  1. To format values from Column A, select those cells and in the Ribbon, go to Home > Number. Select Text from the drop-down list.
    (If you skip this step, Excel omits leading zeros, or shortens large numbers.)

  1. Now, copy the values from Column A to Column B. To do that, in cell B2 enter =A2 and then, drag the formula down to the last populated cell in the column (B6).

  1. Then, select all cells with values in Column B (B2:B6) and in the Ribbon, go to Home > Font. Select Code 39 from the drop-down list.

  1. Now all values in Column B are formatted as barcodes. Make barcodes more visible by increasing the font size.

You may already have the values you need for your barcodes. If not, consider using the RAND Function or Rnd in VBA to generate random numbers. Or, start with a string of numbers at the desired length and generate all permutations.

Create Barcodes in Google Sheets

In Google Sheets, you can create barcodes exactly the same way. Once you install the font, it’s also available in Google Sheets under the name Libre Barcode 39.

Barcodes are visual representations of numbers and strings.

Typically they represent numbers that link back to records in a database storing valuable information about a product.

They’re easy for machines to scan and are ubiquitous in stores and warehouses around the world.

Learn how to create barcodes in Google Sheets in this post, with a simple 2-step process.

Step 1: Download The Barcode Fonts

There are three families of barcode fonts available in Google Sheets:

  1. Libre Barcode 39 for Code 39 barcodes. These are commonly used as labels in industry, e.g. name badges, inventory, and applications.
  2. Libre Barcode 128 for Code 128 barcodes. These are used extensively in packaging and the shipping industry.
  3. Libre Barcode EAN13 for EAN barcodes. These barcodes are commonly used in retail.

To add these fonts, go to the font menu in your toolbar and click on “More fonts”:

In the font popup, search for “Libre barcode”.

Select all of the Libre Barcode fonts (39, 39 Extended, 39 Text, 39 Extended Text, 128, and EAN13) and click OK:

Step 2: Format Values As Barcodes In Google Sheets

Highlight the number and apply one of the new Libre Barcode fonts you downloaded in step 1:

Note:

To use Code 39, you need to wrap your number with * asterisks. You can do this easily with this formula:

="*"&A1&"*"

Code 128 and EAN13 do not require any modification. The number can be formatted directly as a barcode.

Libre Barcode 39 turns values into a plain barcode according to Code 39.

And Libre Barcode 39 Text turns values into a barcode with the ID number printed underneath.

Libre Barcode 128 Text does not appear to be available in the Google Sheets font library.
