Приветствую.
Гуглил, но не нашел ничего внятного по этому вопросу =(

Какая на данный момент стабильная и удобная версия Excel?
Самое основное для работы без рюшек и лишних заморочек.
Требования для работы — стандартные офисные задачи.

Так же интересует вопрос совместимости. Чтобы я мог передавать файлы и они корректно открывались на версиях 2007+ и мне кидали файлы и они корректно открывались.

лично я использую 2013

Файл, сохраненный в младшей версии, обычно без проблем открывается в старшей версии. Обратное не верно, так как могут использоваться конструкции, не «знакомые» младшим версиям. В этом случае при открытии (в младшей версии) выдается соответствующее сообщение и файл, обычно, все-таки открывается.

Рекомендую 2010, но 2013 сейчас тоже уже допилили до стабильной версии. За 2016 ничего не могу сказать, но на работе у кого стоит (в смысле 2016), сбои чаще появляются, но это в макросах и в базах данных.

Jack Famous,  всегда версии оценивались по номеру и Владимир указал все верно  2007<2010<2013 или  13<14<15ю Старшая версия новее, не путать с понятием древний. Расценивайте что младшая( она же древняя версия) не смотря на свой возраст умеет меньше чем последняя.

(см. скрин) обновил у всех сотрудников и отключил обновления, чтобы всё было одинаково и никаких сюрпризов.
Обновил, поскольку в этой версии функционал Power Query стал намного разнообразнее (особенно варианты объединения запросов),  а также работает стабильнее и быстрее (в том числе из VBA)

У нас проблема другая. Мы отображаем в Excel данные корпоративных систем. Если, например, мы имеем дело с Oracle, то, естественно, разрядность Excel должна соответствовать разрядности клиента Oracle. На компьютере уже есть программы, рассчитанные на определенную разрядность клиента Oracle (обычно 32-). Поскольку одновременно два клиента Oracle (32 и 64) если и ставятся, то кривовато, мы, как несложно угадать, работаем на 32-разрядном офисе (хотя 64- более производителен). Поэтому версии Excel надо определять с учетом ландшафта предприятия, о чем Вы справедливо пишите.

БМВ, sokol92 — коллеги, насчёт «то же, что у пользователя» согласен, но 64х же позволяет использовать ресурсы по-полной, поэтому выбор очевиден. Разве нет? Слишком поверхностная оценка «чайника»?  :D

Когда это требуется, то есть в том случае, когда приложению требуется более 2ГБ оперативной памяти, что бывает не так часто. Все остальное  — никоем образом не отражается на скорости или  ……  Даже на форуме были вопросы о том, что файл XLSX не открывается достигнув размера,  скажем 200МБ. Но как часто такое бывает?

В этом я с Юрием согласен.
По поводу 2013 или 2010 могу сказать, что да, действительно 2010 выжимают из рынка пользователей. Поэтому, если я бы выбирал, то 2013. В плане макросов могу сказать, что в некоторых случаях 2013 проглатывает файлы лучше 2010, на 2016 у коллег постоянно проблемы с Аппаратным ускорением, которое приходится выключать. То бледное окно, то линейка становится с пиктограммами бледными, потом висюн пропадает. Но такое возникает. У кого 2010 таких проблем вообще не возникает.

Jack Famous, Вы сейчас говорите о том, что вот эта вакханалия с массивами будет прощена в x64 и вызовет сбой в x32. Да это так, но давайте смотреть с другой стороны, у разработчика, лучшее оборудование, огромные мониторы и он все что пишет, пишет под «себя». Потом это попадает на стол пользователю и оказывается, что видимая область ограничилась банером о том какой крутой разработчик софта, а память вся ушла как раз на генерацию этого анимированного 3D банера. А у разраба все работало.
Все ж давайте отделять реальную необходимость от глупости.

Юрий, имею ввиду, процессы для работы с большими моделями, с большим количеством данных, срезов, подключаемых библиотек. К сожалению пока отчётность и ГФП будет собираться в Excel, этого не избежать.
БМВ, а что делать, вся аналитика выполняется на клиенте, сервер только данные хранит и считает. Можно собирать кубы и крутить, к примеру, в Cognos. Но в Excel это удобнее, в свете того, что эти данные уходят в отчётность. А то, что отчётность пилится в Excel — это суровая Российская реальность. Хотя прогресс есть и я надеюсь, скоро от этого уйдем.

— тогда мы поняли друг друга, так как текущая прожорливость — просто временное затыкание технологической дыры. Да, при таких условиях запас нужен,  и по всем ресурсам. Я порой тоже топором гвоздь забиваю, если 1- 2, но удобнее и эффективнее молотком, а еще лучше пневмо/электро пистолетом.

Сами знаете, что нет ничего более постоянного, чем временное… :) в Идеале клиент должен зайти в тот же Cognos на ПК, или с телофона, планшета и т.д.,  и посмотреть цифры в нужных разрезах, графики, динамику в любом месте мира (естественно с нормальным администрированием пользователей). Тогда и половину аналитического и финансового отдела можно сократить…

E 1C есть одна тонкость, само приложение работает в двух режимах, в режиме тонкого и толстого клиента. Первый — фактически только морда. For big business and corporations, of course, there is Office Professional and Professional Plus. Office Professional Plus is an integrated set of Microsoft applications for business or enterprise. Office Professional Plus includes all of the programs in Office Standard (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), plus you Publisher, Access, and Skype for Business.

Acces is a relational database management system that helps businesses track and report information. Skype for Business is a unified communications client that works with Skype for Business Server, allowing users to talk to one another via instant messaging, voice, or video, or two switch between modes. These are clearly not apps the everyday user would ever make use of or what to pay for, which is why there are different editions.

There is also a Standard edition of Microsoft that includes:

  • Excel: A spreadsheet application with data analysis and visualization tools
  • OneNote: A note-taking application that allows various types of content to be shared among team members.
  • Outlook: A time and information manager that integrates email, calendar, contacts, and tasks.

The great thing about the Standard edition (desktop) is that it works well for a wide range of consumers. So does it really matter which edition you choose? Yes and no. If you already have a “Professional Plus” edition and you are a casual user, no problem. The core apps are still the same and will work for you. If you are a casual user, however, about to purchase, you are not likely to want to spend the money on the “Professional Plus” version for applications you won’t use.

What Versions of Microsoft Office Are Available?

The most current version of Microsoft Office is Office 2019. There is a perpetual version (desktop or standalone version) that is a one-time purchase. Office 2019 comes in three editions (as noted above), 2019 Home and Student for Pc/Mac, 2019 Home and Business for Pc/Mac and Microsoft Office 2019 Professional. The desktop versions are significantly different than Office 365. Consumers can purchase the perpetual version and pay only one time for the software, while Office 365 is a subscription and cloud-based service that offers constantly updated versions of the Office products.
