Английский (американский вариант)
1 is correct. “Eye-sight” is the noun. “Bad” is an adjective.
-
Английский (американский вариант)
The first one, but no hyphen needed. Eyesight = one word.
-
Английский (американский вариант)
Your first sentence is more natural.
Everyone generally knows what eyesight is in terms of quantity, so it is unnecessary to specify the quantity with an article like «a».
