King Tut’s Tomb

Marco Polo, the famous explorer, was born in Italy in the thirteenth century. When he was 18
he travelled to China with his father and uncle. It was a very dangerous journey and they were
very happy when they came to Beijing.
Marco lived in China for 17 years and learned lots of interesting things. He came back to
Iuly with lots of beautiful things.
He wrote a book about his adventures. The stories were so amazing that many people
thought they were not true.
Now travelling is so easy, we forget how difficult and dangerous it was long ago.
