SkyGreen, Для того чтоб определить разницу, нужно на том ж железе в разных версиях решать одинаковые задачи, что мало кому интересно. На работе 2013×32, дома 2016×64 , но на работе старенький I7 , а дома ноутбук и старенький i5. Разница по скорости в сторону проца естественно. Скажем так, вот прямо заметной разницы после перехода вы не ощутите, но натыкался на описания от МS, что они порой работают над оптимизацией конкретных функций, так что новее точно хуже не будет. По вопросам из тем форума, личку не читаю. |

В 2013 модель данных ненароком поломать, в которую вбухана не одна сотня человекочасов, это как два пальца… В 2016 такого ни разу не получалось сделать. А в 2016 красоты и функций ещё больше накрутили, поэтому красота будет жрать больше памяти и больше требовать от процессора. Я сомневаюсь, что в майкрософт поменяли алгоритмя функций в сторону скорости их вычислений. Только добавили новых плюшек и красоты. Совместное редактирование документов в режиме онлайн – далеко не новая возможность в продукте Microsoft Office. В Word, Excel и PowerPoint появился и функционал рукописного ввода математических уравнений. Данные, введенные стилусом, пальцем или указателем мыши, автоматически преобразовываются в текстовые надписи формул.
Microsoft Word 2016
- В свежепредставленном офисном пакете нет ни помощника «Скрепыша», ни любого другого анимированного персонажа, от которых из-за обилия критики разработчики избавились, начиная с Office 2007. Редмондцы не решились экспериментировать с новым интерактивным ассистентом, обустроив Office 2016 обычным полем поиска по ключевым словам для быстрого доступа к функциям приложений.
- В последнем Office расширены функции справочника. Теперь с помощью опции «Лупа» Word ищет через поисковую систему Bing определение искомого понятия. Такой инструмент был интегрирован в Office 365 Online, однако и офлайн-версия получила полезный поисковик.

Microsoft Excel 2016
- В Excel те, кто пользуется устройством с сенсорным экраном, могут подбирать только простые ячейки. При касании ячейки приложение попытается распознать тип создаваемой таблицы и предложит интегрировать интерактивную таблицу.
- В новом табличном редакторе обладателям тачскринов (англ. touchscreen) понравится функция «Рекомендуемая схема«. На основании выбранных ячеек программа автоматически предлагает соответствующую схему, что осязаемо экономит время.
- Excel2016 поддерживает расширенные сводные таблицы, при этом источником данных могут быть самые разные таблицы (внешний вид адаптируется к новым таблицам).
Microsoft PowerPoint 2016
- Пользователь может в полноэкранном режиме делать пометки с помощью стилуса, а в конце презентации решить, сохранить ли дополнительную информацию на слайдах.
- В свежей версии PowerPoint формат одних объектов теперь легко применить и к другим объектам: при нажатии появляется всплывающее меню с соответствующей командой.
- С помощью опции «Защита от потери данных» администратор может указать при каких условиях презентации PowerPoint следует выкладывать в сеть.
Microsoft Outlook 2016
- В ранних версиях все электронные письма давностью менее месяца автоматически синхронизировались. В версии 2016 пользователь сам устанавливает необходимый период.
- Почтовый клиент научился правильно отображать фотографии, снятые на мобильное устройство. Для этого Outlook распознает вложенную в снимки информацию об их положении.
- Изменилась специфика отправки файлов, находящихся в облачном хранилище OneDrive. При создании письма с вложением из «облака» получателю отправляется не сам файл, а ссылка на него (можно установить частичный (только просмотр) или полный доступ к файлу).
Подытоживая, хочется сказать, что Office 2016 не стал «прорывом» в линейке офисных пакетов от Microsoft, а являет собой доработку существующего Office 2013. Стал ли он «шустрее» в работе, как об этом заявляют разработчики? Небольшую разницу в производительности смогут отметить владельцы устаревших девайсов, но на мощных компьютерах это вряд ли будет заметно.

The 2016 Release of Microsoft Excel
Microsoft released Office 2016 for Windows on September 22, 2015, a few months after the 2016 version came out for Mac operating systems. If you download Office 2016 for Windows, you cannot use it with Office 2013 applications, but it does integrate with earlier programs (2010, 2007, etc.). Customers can access Office 2016 as part of the Office 365 program, or as a one-time software purchase. Note: If you subscribe to Office 365 program you can use Microsoft Excel 2016 now, and you can then switch to Microsoft Excel 2019 late next year when it is released in the third quarter.
What’s Gone in Microsoft Excel 2016?
Whenever a new software version comes out, Microsoft includes fresh features, endeavoring to make the updated program more useful than the last. However, these newfound functions typically come at a cost. When determining if Excel 2016 is right for your business, it’s important to look at what Microsoft has taken away as well as added. In some cases (such as Excel 2016 for Mac), these losses are substantial, but Excel 2016 for Windows remained relatively intact compared to its 2013 features.
According to Microsoft’s own TechNet, just two basic features were deleted from Excel 2016:
- Azure data. TechNet reports: “Data services are no longer available from Azure marketplace.” This somewhat limits the utility of Excel 2016, particularly if your company relies on Azure applications to run analyses.
- The Power View button. As TechNet explains: “the Power View button has been removed from Insert > Reports on the ribbon.” Fortunately, it’s just the button, and not the feature itself, that’s been eliminated. You’ll simply have to go through a few more steps to reach Power View. Microsoft provides a step-by-step tutorial for turning on Power View for your convenience.
Overall, these losses are relatively minor. While potentially frustrating, they are not, in most cases, reasons not to purchase Excel 2016 for Windows.
More Powerful Power BI
One of the more prominent features of Excel 2016 is its enhanced Microsoft Power BI compatibility, which presents clear advantages for corporate clients. “BI” stands for “Business Intelligence,” and Microsoft Power BI is a cloud-based service that utilizes data analysis and other features to provide projections, predictions, and other important information to your business. As you might imagine, Power BI ties in closely to Excel, and the 2016 release has further developed this functionality.
Excel 2016 for Windows has made using Power BI with Excel better than ever. As Microsoft describes: “With Excel 2016, you can publish your Excel workbooks right to your Power BI site, where you can create highly interactive reports and dashboards based on your workbook’s data. You can then share your insights with others in your organization.” Excel 2016 has streamlined the interface from workbooks to Power BI, making the transition between these programs smooth and efficient. Furthermore, the new Excel software makes sharing its data visualizations and Power BI reports easier. By strengthening the connection between these two applications, Microsoft has made both better.
The Rest of the Microsoft Office Suite for Windows
Of course, Excel 2016 doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If you purchase or download this program, you’ll probably do so along with the other fundamental Microsoft programs: Access, Word, and Outlook. When contemplating whether a change is right for your company, it’s a good idea to look at how your other applications will be affected by upgrading to Excel 2016.

• Access: According to Microsoft’s support team, one crucial Access upgrade is that the database management system now provides “support for large data types,” making the program more embracive. TechNet reports that the only removed feature for Access is “web apps…Microsoft no longer recommends creating and using web apps in Sharepoint.”
• Word: The 2016 software makes co-authoring documents less of a hassle, provides more precise version history so you can track your progress, and a more visually appealing document interface (including customizable themes). What’s gone is direct publishing to Blogger.com and “The Grammar & Style option” for proofing documents (at least, in most languages, English included).
• Outlook: Outlook 2016 has two major improvements. Firstly, Microsoft now offers “modern attachments” which allow you to “attach a document from your recent items and share them from OneDrive or SharePoint with email recipients,” along with personalized permissions. Second of all, “mail triage: The Clutter feature learns how you prioritize your mail and then helps you by putting low priority messages in a separate folder (while still giving you a daily summary so you don’t miss anything).” In exchange for these advancements, TechNet notes that Outlook doesn’t include Exchange Server support, provide “access to LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media sites,” or support “PRF files for configuring Exchange Server accounts.”
Office 2016 also offers better Skype integration for remote meetings, improved integration with Windows 10, handwriting-to-type functionality for those using tablets, more advanced automated assistance with the “Tell Me” box, enhanced security features, and more.

Microsoft Excel 2019 To Be Released…
Microsoft has announced the next adaptation of Office, to cast in the second half of 2018. Called Office 2019, it will be a downloadable program containing the usual tools Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Microsoft termed this edition the “next perpetual release of Office”, which is the company’s way of saying that you purchase it with a one-off fee, not over a subscription, unlike Office 365.
According to Wikipedia: Microsoft Office 2019. Microsoft Office 2019 (codenamed Office 17) is a version of the Microsoft Office productivity suite, succeeding Office 2016. It was announced on 26 September 2017 at Microsoft Ignite. It is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2018.

I Agree Rockalittle.. I wanted to here Comparisons On Any Useful Basic Improvements On Excel 2016 vs 2013..
It Appears All You Get Is Info On Added features.. It Would have been great to hear faster speed and improved functions, coding and other software Enhancements for Excel but All i See is Mostly Business Type Added Features And Improvements.
