Supplies
Paper and pen.
Step 1: Write the Word «boy»
Step 2: Connect the Top of the «y» to the Top of the «b»
Step 3: Connect the Bottom of the «y» to the Bottom of the «b»
Step 4: Finish Connecting the Top of the «y»
Step 5: Draw a Dot in the «b» and «o»
Step 6: Draw Facial Features
Step 7: Make It Your Own!

It is so much fun to draw cartoons with words, letters, and numbers. Today, I will show you how to draw a little cartoon boy out of the word “boy”. This is a great drawing lesson for children, and teens, and grown ups…it is fun for every one.

Written-Out Step by Step Instructions
(Step 1) Write out the lowercase letters – b, o, y
(Step 2) Draw a dot in the letter ‘b’ and ‘o’, as these are the boy’s eyes. Draw a curved line connecting the ‘b’ with the ‘y’.
(Step 3) Draw zig-zaggy lines for bangs…draw a curved line at the back of his head. Draw a letter ‘c’ shape for his nose.
(Step 4) Draw more zig-zaggy shapes for hair. Draw a curved line for each eye brow and for his smile.
(Step 5) Draw last zig-zaggy letter ‘M’ shape for the top of his hair. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for his ear. Draw a curved line for side of mouth and 2 lines for his neck.
(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘c’ shape inside his ear.
(Step 7) Color boy in if you choose to.
