УМК “LASER B1” (9 класс)

Тема Урока: “The law’s the Law”

План урока: введение новой лексики

                      фразовые глаголы с “off”

Цели урока: — вводить тему преступления и закона посредством общего обсуждения

— закрепить и активизировать лексический материал  по теме

Оснащение: магнитофон

Ожидаемый результат: уметь вести дискуссию по данной проблеме. Умение делать    

выводы, собственное суждение.

Перед прочтением текста спросить учащихся в парах, в небольших  группах или индивидуально записать столько преступлений, сколько они могут придумать за две минуты. “Think of as many crimes as you can” . После, учащимся дают некоторые разъяснения о различии между серьезными и менее тяжкими преступлениями. На доске пишу возможные ответы: theft, drug smuggling , kidnapping, terrorism, hijacking , drinking and driving forgery , fraud, shopliftings, speeding, not wearing a helmet on a motorbike , not wearing a seatbelt, parking on a double yellow line.

Даю учащимся несколько минут  чтобы обсудить вопросы в маленьких группах или в парах. Вопросы Who do some people commit crimes? Is crime a serious problem where you live?

Обсуждаем вопросы м после подсказываю возможные ответы на первый вопрос(possible reasons for committing crimes) : poverty, boredom, political beliefs, jealousy selfishness, desire to get rich.

Учащиеся отвечают на второй вопрос.

Exercise1 (Reading) pg. 26

Цель: Развитие умения формирования логической связи между текстами.

Обращаю внимание учащихся на картину и прошу предположить,  что она означает, задавая следующие вопросы: “What is happening? Why has the man been arrested? Is this a normal reason to arrest someone? ”

Приступая к чтению  текстов, прошу сделать это как можно быстрее и попытаться найти ответы на заданные вопросы. Подсказываю,  что последовательность текстов неверная и что в каждом из них пропущено несколько предложений, которые в данный момент следует (отклонить) проигнорировать.

Разъясняю и даю справочную информацию.

Предлагаю учащимся прочитать статью более внимательно и попытаться расположить фразы в правильном порядке.

После того как выбор сделан, учащиеся сверяют свои ответы с ответами партнера.

Цель: активировать лексический материал по теме.

Учащиеся читают предложения с пропусками и заполняют их нужными словами из текста.

Предлагаю найти слово “murder ” и разъясняю что обозначают различные соrращения м фонетика. После показываю, как найти связанное слово “murderer” .

 Заполняем пропуски и пишем на доске. Поясняю различия в значении между словами “burglar ,thief and robber”
