Who Invented Stockings?

Stockings were originally made of leather to cover legs for protection. The first people who tried to make stockings of same kind we wear today were the French. Soon stockings enabled their owners not only to use them for warmth, but to look elegant as well. Stockings were often decorated with pieces of golden, silk and velvet1 cloth. In those days stocking were worn mainly by fashionable people. The first knitted stockings appeared in London about the year 1565. It’s known for a fact that Queen Elizabeth I wore them.

В большинстве случаев, нужно было образовать отрицательную форму. Для этого существуют приставки: dis, in, im, il, non, un и другие.
Также, глагол «to inform» преобразовываем в существительное с помощью окончания «tion»; прилагательные «violent» и «aggressive» — с помощью окончаний «ence» и «ion».

They also disagree to let their sons and daughters spend a lot of time before monitors because young people become inactive, not sporty and even physically unfit.
